Not much to say really about this, I started off liking how it was coming but the more i added the worse it got so i eventually just stopped. I think when i get enough fails like this together im gonna post them all at once instead of one at a time.

Title: Lorna Pt. 1

Inspiration: Well iv been trying to refine some skills of mine and try to start implementing more advanced lighting and such. So you could call this the first success ^^
Artist Notes: The more time this character (and her companion who still needs to be doodled) sticks in my head the more i seem to develop her as far as personality and such and i do have to say im starting to enjoy how Lorna is turning out ^^. This is only the first part of her Bio I shall work on the rest soon.

Title: Sweeney Todd_ Observational Semi Realism
Time: 0:15:00 - 0:25:00 min.
Its that time a year again sigh
Actually i should probably back up and explain what i mean.
When i was a little kid (yes i was even into art then) i spent almost all my time drawing what i saw,nothing else.
So as i grew older the easier this got for me. Eventually i ended up actuallywalking away from art specfically because i was under the impression all art was going to bore me like observation drawing had.
Well now years later after coming back to art, which i should have saw coming, iv grown a physical hate towards both observational drawing and realism. Not because their hard to me but because they are just boring. At the same time though i know that this is an important skill to be able to do, observational drawing defiantly, So iv adopted the annual ’holiday’ of spending some time on at least one observational drawing piece.
Since i only had 16 more days and something and i wasnt doing anything i figured this would be a perfect time

Obviously its not perfect by any means, Actually this is rather bad specially seeing how the head angle is off. but i can honestly say, though boring, i thought it came out decent for a quick “hey can you still do this?” piece

The original Three sketches i used for a contest character design. I ended up only using two of the three mostly because of a file size issue and the third sketch didnt give the character I was depicting any justice (sadly)

Think im gonna continue posting original sketches and WIPS here. along with some stuff i don’t like showing on DA for a plethora of different reasons

Title: Tribute to the Past
Time: 04:30.00 - 05:00.00 Hours
Inspiration: Iv been learning the hard way that jumping into things isnt ever goign to end we;;. so i have been learning from the ground up to draw things realistically so i can learn anatomy and all that fun shit correct. While ripping my hair out with figure drawing i decided to take a day break and just draw some wolves (always a good break).
Artists Notes: I Didnt realize how much this particular character had went through since i created him. Sounds funny but he is one of my first and is for sure one of my closest and going back seeing how much pain i put him through kinda hurts. Guess i get carried away but still wish i could go back and change things that contriduted to the fate of this particular character
